Let me try to be clearer. In order to create a portfolio which would give me the value of all my holdings which are currently spread out into seven portfolios, one for each family member, trust, etc., I added all the files from every portfolio into one. Certain stocks like GE or GM or International Fibercom existed in 4 or 5 portfolios and now are represented 4 or 5 times in the master portfolio. When I update the prices only one instance of GM or GE will be updated. The others remain the same. If I reupdate another will be updated but not the first. In each update only one instance of the stock is updated. In prior versions a sign would indicate that "multiple instances of this stock are being updated".
