I run my own mail server using VMS so I'm sure nobody got the address from there, of the 64 email accounts I have on it the only ones that receive spam are the ones that are visible on the net. The address I used to register has never been seen by anyone other than the two of us and the spammers who have sent me the 5 spam messages so far. Perhaps someone was running a sniffer on part of the network that your email to me was traveling on. No need to go through all that bother of changing email addresses (the spam I received on this account was not received on any of my other accounts so that gave me more spam to report). I just needed to see if anyone else reported the same spam.
