: Thanks Mark,

: I've created the benchmarks in a sub portfolio and downloaded the historical data, but I am still getting "N/A" in the custom report fields. The data is only for 6 months or so, perhaps it needs to be a longer time period??

: Thanks,
: Todd

Hi Todd,

You'll need to make sure you assign the benchmark, and that you have pricing data for the entire "comparison period". From within a report window, choose "Options / Report Preferences..." and click on the "Benchmark" tab. Select your benchmark here, and if your comparison period is 5 years, then you'll want to retrieve pricing for 5 years. When doing these calculations, Fund Manager makes use of your "interpolation range" settings. These settings determine how much you want Fund Manager to extrapolate when looking for a needed price that isn't recorded in the investment. You can see these settings at "Options / Yield Interpolation Range...". If you retrieve for the full 5 years in this case, the standard interpolation range settings should suffice.

Thanks,
Mark
