: : Hi Mark - When trying to set up a custom report including alpha, beta, etc. and trying to establish a benchmark, the only selections available are the individual securities in my portfolio. How do I set up the Russell 2000 as a benchmark?

: Hi Todd,

: You'll need to create a new investment for any benchmark you'd like to use. Create a new investment, and you can own 0 shares. You can retrieve the historical quotes, and then assign it as your benchmark. You might want to put all your indices in their own sub-portfolio. You can find the symbols to use for all the indices on Yahoo at:

: For example, the Russell 2000 is: ^RUT

Thanks Mark,

I've created the benchmarks in a sub portfolio and downloaded the historical data, but I am still getting "N/A" in the custom report fields. The data is only for 6 months or so, perhaps it needs to be a longer time period??

Thanks,
Todd
