Mark: I had an unfortunate encounter with a virus which required me to restore the computer back to the factory load condition. Subsequently, I reloaded Fund Manager and tried to use backup diskettes to refill a bare bones Fund Manager installation to get back up to speed again. I ran into two problems. First, the portfolio names and descriptions are not stored in the backup diskettes to reestablish the portfolios and therefore it remains quite a chore to achieve a preliminary condition where a backup diskette can be effectively used. Second, after the backup is achieved, there is a short period of dates following the backup date to the current date for which quotes are missing. How do I fill in these gaps in the quotes?
