In FastTrack, there is a marker (vertical line, affectinately called a pole by FT users). You can move this pole to any day, plant it with the down arrow, then move the pole to a new date (left or right), and get the percetage gain/loss between the poles.

More cumbersome, but similar, a chart could show the gain/loss over a date range. I guess reports perform that function, but the percentage price change between days (range represented by the vertical line) is very visual on a chart.
