Hi Mark

1. That larger window would be nice, as it has to show "Distributed dividend from Stock Name". This is quite a column full!

2. Let's buy 1000 shares in ABC at $2.
Procedure:
File - New Investment - Fill in the "New Investment" window using the mouse to go to each field. "OK" - "Save".
We now own ABC.
Go to Cash Account. "Edit" - "All Data". For Data type select "Investments [All]".
We see our transaction debiting the Cash Account for the ABC purchase. The Memo field is blank.
Select the transaction. Click "Edit". The Memo field in the new window is blank too.

Now go back and select the ABC graph. Select "Edit" - "All data". For data Type, select "Investments [All]".
Highlight the Buy transaction then click on "Edit".
In the Buy/Sell Transaction window, tab down to the blank memo field. Click OK.

Now go back to the Cash account. Select "Edit" - "All data". Select "Investments [All]" for the Data Type.
Now we see in the Memo field "Brought 1000 ABC".

Is there a reason that this info is not showing up in that memo field in the first place?

3. GST; Good and Services Tax is a tax added to Everything. How has the USA missed this one??
I take your point though and will just included it with the brokerage.
