: Hi Mark

: 1. I would like to increase the size of the "Edit-AllData" window to allow for viewing the full contents of the columns.
: Although I can drag the width of individual columns, I cannot increase the overall size of the window by dragging at the borders.
: Is there a way of doing this?

: 2. I've noticed that although stock buy/sell transactions are reflected in my Cash Account, sometimes the memo field in the Cash Account list does not show the Buy/Sell details.
: I think the the ommission occurs if the Memo field is not tabbed when entering the Buy/Sell transaction.
: If I go back to the stock and open the Edit window and tab through the Memo field even though it is blank, the Memo field in the Cash account list then shows the transaction details.
: Any thoughts?

: 3. Could an extra field be added (along with the extra maths!) in the Buy/Sell transaction entry, to enter amounts of Tax eg GST? At present I am adding the GST to the brokerage which is not quite correct.

: Cheers

: Roger

Hi Roger,

1) Sorry, no this dialog box's size is not adjustable. I agree that would
be a nice improvement.

2) I couldn't reproduce this. Could you give me all the steps you take
starting from recording the initial buy/sell? Where are you looking at
the memo?

3) What is GST? In general, FM does not calculate the actual tax. It
calculates the capital gains, but converting that to tax varies from
person to person and country to country, so we stop at just calculating
the capital gains.

Thanks,
Mark
