: : I have just downloaded Professional V5 and wanted to monitor the daily trend of a stock in real time. Although I see the price changing when the internet site is accessed, I do not see any graphics. I have set the date range for today. Am I doing something wrong?

: : Thanks,

: FM doesn't record intra-day prices ie prices are recorded by date, not date & time. Personally, I don't think FM would be useful for intra-day analysis. It's real benefit comes from being able to analyse and manage one or more portfolios over the medium to long term. Just my opinion!

Thanks for the feedback, however with FMs existing features such as alerting, and automatic retrieve frequency, and now real time quotes it would seem to me that intra-day recording would be a snap. FM could plot based on time of retrieve. Intra-day data could be archived for a period and possibly be discarded later.
