It seems like you still have to be very careful which data you are opening up for which version;--if you are not careful it could be pointing to your "old" data which you may not want to convert as yet. May have something to do with autobackup. Don't open any data when first opening the program for any of the versions if more than one version in on your machine. Use the "File -Open" menu and make sure you are getting data from the correct directory if you are trying to keep the old data format also.
