: I downloaded and installed 5.0 pro on a different drive (D)expecting to get a seperate FM 5.0. I did not and it overwrote my current 4.7. I uninstalled an it and the uninstall (windows98)took my 4.7 Startup menu item. I wanted to test the 5.0 pro seperiate from 4.7.

Hi Brian,
If you install 5.0 into a new directory it won't overwrite your old
version, but it does set all the shortcuts in your start menu to point
to the new 5.0 installation. The old version program files will stil be
there though. We can add a unique shortcut for the 5.x versions, so it
will leave a shortcut for your prior version. In the mean time you can
create your own shortcut, or start your old FM version by double clicking
on the fm.exe in the old directory.

Thanks,
Mark
