Back up of Investment Files to Floppy

Hi, Mark:

I am a new user of FM 4.1. I tried to backup investment data files of two protfolios into floppy disks. From time to time, I would get error messages saying that it could not copy an investment. Some investment files are therfore missed. It is not the same .dat files that give the problems. There are lots of disk space available on the floppy. Using new floppies did not make any different.

Am I the only one having problems with backing up .dat files to floppy? Are the command meant for using removable disks?
