Hi Larry,
This message is stating that you have the same investment file opened
multiple times. Probably the best way to figure out which one it is, is to
sort the investment stack by name, and then create a custom report with
the "Path" field, so that you can see the path of all your open investments.
You'll probably want to close the investment(s) that are opened more than
once, and then re-save your portfolio. You can have the same stock from different accounts open, but
those are assigned different investment filenames. This message
is because you have the same file opened more than once. As an example,
you may have:

Janus Fund in an IRA: c:\finance\my_data\jansx1.dat
Janus Fund in non-IRA: c:\finance\my_data\jansx2.dat

You can have both jansx1.dat and jansx2.dat open at the same time, but
when you have jansx1.dat opened twice in the same portfolio, you will
get this message that you are receiving.

Thanks much for the referrals, appreciate it.

Thanks,
Mark
