Multiple instances info message

After downloading prices from Yahoo for a portfolio that contains all of my "owned" postions,
Fund Manger gives the following info message" Changes have been made to multiple instances
of the same file. Changes from the last instance will be recorded." What cause this and is
there a way that I can tell which "instances" this message is referring to? I have
several position os the same stock in an IRA portfolio and in a non IRA portfolio. Incidentally, I have recommended FM to several (about 5 ) of my friends some of whcih may register.
