Download transactions from Fidelity NetBenefits
Fidelity has disabled their OFX server, so automatic retrieval of transactions from Fund Manager is no longer possible, but you can still download/import this data.
Importing Transactions
- Download a QIF transaction file from Fidelity NetBenefits
at "Accounts & Benefits / View your Transaction history / Download Transaction History".
Select a time period, and choose "QIF" for the "File Format".
- Import the QIF file into Fund Manager using "File / Import / Transactions / Quicken (*.QIF)...".
In this dialog you'll need to "Specify" what sub-portfolio to import into under "Import into Fund Manager Portfolio".
Tip: When using a QIF import the "Name" property in the Fund Manager investment needs to match the name in the QIF file.
You can look in the QIF file with a text editor like Notepad and find the "Name" on the lines beginning with a 'Y'.
Reconciling
- A downloadable position file is not available, so choose "Manually Reconcile" as the statement source and
compare share balances against what is listed on your statement.
