: I have decided that I have too many levels of portfolios within each other. So I set out to somplify this by working within the portfolio editor and copying the investment files from a lower level portfolio to the next higher portfolio. That worked fine. Next I was looking for a "delete" key to either delete the investements, one by one, from the lower level portfolio, or to delete the lower leverl portfolio at once. However, I didn't see this. I see a "close" command. But I don't really understand if the term, "close" here would mean the same thing as "delete." How should I be going about this task.
: Thank you.

Hi John,

Yes, "closing" a sub-portfolio in the Portfolio Editor removes or deletes it, and everything below it.

Also, you can "move" the investments if you'd prefer by selecting them on the right, and then dragging them over to the new desired sub-portfolio on the left. Your method works fine too though.
