New user - two questions

I'm a new user evaluating the Professional version of FM and have run into two problems:

1. I'm importing transactions from Quicken (QIF) and allowing FM to create new investments unprompted. I'm not getting the ticker symbols--instead, the full security name appears in the symbol field. Consequently, the .DAT filenames generated are not composed of the symbol, but rather are constructed from the first part of the security name and are therefore obscure, e.g. FIDELITY1, FIDELITY2, etc. On the other hand, when I elect to be prompted for new investment data, the ticker symbol appears as expected and the .DAT filename is in fact the symbol. What am I doing wrong?

2. I'm retrieving recent transactions from Charles Schwab and am not getting all the transactions within the date range specified. Example: on 9/20/06 a had five sells and on 9/21 five buys, but only two sells are retrieved along with the correct five buys. I requested a date range of 9/19/2006 to 9/24/2006. How can I obtain all the relevant transactions?
