I do appreciate the feedback. I should point out that this limit is unrelated to transaction data. Every investment can have an unlimited transaction history. For example, if you bought INTC, sold all of it, and then bought it again later, this is all just 1 investment. You can have as many transactions as you want in any given investment file (*.dat). The 2000/5000 limit only applies to the number of investment files. You would normally have just one investment file per unique symbol (security), and record all the transactions for that security within that one investment file.
