: Re the Portfolio Performance report.

: I have one overall portfolio with five sub portfolios, on entering the data some portfolios have all the shares listed under "invested", however one portfolio has some shares listed as "Beg value"as well as other shares listed under "invested".

: How can I change these so they are all listed under "invested". Have searched the message board and tried all sorts of areas of the program to work out how this is sorted.

: Thanks,

: Mary

Hello Mary,

This really just depends on the starting report date. The value of each investment/portfolio as of the beginning report date will be shown in the "Beginning Value" column. (Actually it is the value as of the opening of that day, which is the same as the close of the prior day) Any purchases/redemptions between the beginning and ending report dates will show up in the "Invested" column. So, if you want everything in the "Invested" column, you would need to change the report start date to be before any initial purchases in any of your investments. You do this in the Report Settings dialog. You can also choose "Help / Help on Report" from within this report to see documentation on each displayed column.

Thanks,
Mark
