: Hi Mark, For quite sometime I have had a variance (a few hundred dollars) between the cost figure shown in the portfolio cost-value graph & the result shown in a customised report OOP basis end. Its not a big deal for me but thought I should get to bottom of this. What are the "obvious" things I should be doing to identify cause of this variance?

Hi Gary,

Check these 2 items:

1) The ending date of the graph is the same as the ending report date.

2) In the graphs window is the "Graphs / Options / Historical Cost" option turned on? It should be, in order to match with OOP basis end. The custom report also has a OOP-C basis end, which is the out of pocket cost for only the currently owned shares. This field would match when you have the historical option turned off on the graph.

Thanks,
Mark
