: : : Hi Danie,

: : : Which menu command are you using to update prices manually? Can you also give me the exact error message you get? I couldn't find such an error message directly from Fund Manager. Can you also let me know what the title of the message box says? Were you previously using version 7.6?

: : : Thanks,

: Mark I will e-mail you the msg box as a screen shot. It does not happen every time I do a manual update of a price. I did upgrade from vers 7.6. It is a small msg box with the INVALID SOCKET in it. The way I update is always by right clicking on the price graph. Then I choose update price and after filling in the closing price and I click OK that the box appears. On the odd occasion I get another msg box which is followed by the INVALID SOCKET msg.

: Regards.
: Danie.

Hi Danie,

An email the next time it happens would be good. It sounds like this might be due to an email alert going off, and unable to be sent? Do you know if you have any alerts set? You can adjust your alert options under "Options / Alerts..." and press the "Configure..." button in the E-mail section.

Thanks,
Mark
