: : I have just imported a bunch of transactions including buys and sells. In the data register for each stock, the sells are shown correctly as sells, but in the portfolio editor view, they are all shown as buys, likewise in the investment transactions report. They were all shown correctly in the import review screen as well. Can you help please?

: Hi Michael,

: If you edit one of these problematic transactions, does it display the proper state for buy/sell in the radio boxes? Maybe you imported some transactions as buys of negative shares instead of a sell of a positive number of shares?

: Where are you looking in the Portfolio Editor that you see them as buys?

: Thanks,
: Mark

Hi Mark

Many thanks. The sells had been picked up as a sell of a negative number of shares. Problem now solved. It implies when importing this kind of data, to adjust the import file beforehand?

Regards

Michael
