Price retrieval delay before retrieval

Hi,

When I retrieve prices from the internet, there is a 20 - 30 second delay before the prices are downloaded. The modal dialog pops up and it just sits there. After 20 odd seconds, the price download starts and from there its nearly instantaneous.

I know this is a vague description, but do you have any idea on what could be causing this?

Price downloads used to work fine. I do have the latest and greatest version.
