: : : : Hi Mark,
: : : : I now have all transactions in my portfolio, but when downloaded fund managager is showing long and short for some of the stocks. How do I get it to show as one complete position?

: : :
: : : Hi Louis,

: : : What do you mean by it is showing long and short? Do you mean separate transactions were imported into separate investments, or are you looking at a capital gains report where the long/short gains are separated?

: : : Thanks,

: : Hi Mark,
: : They are showing as seperate investments, long 10000 XYZ and short 10000 XYZ. Do I have to delete and reenter one of them or is there a way to combine them into one investment?

:
: Hi Louis,

: I'm guessing that when you imported the transaction, the symbol or names were different, causing unique investment files to be created for each different transaction. Did you use the generic transaction import? If so, did you have the same SYMB, NAME and PORT specified for each transaction that you wanted to go into the same investment file?

: Thanks,
: Mark

Hi Mark,
I did use the generic import and the SYMB, NAME, and PORT specified were exactly the same.
