: Mark - I am trying to export historical portfolio value data to Excel. I see that function under the File, Export, Other menu but the resulting data combines the date and value into one cell. Is there a way to get the date and value into distinct cells?

: Thanks,
: Todd

Hi Todd,

When you export the portfolio value using this command the data will be written to a text file that uses a comma and a space as the delimiter between the date and the value.

When you open this text file in Excel the "Text Import Wizard" will open up, and if you choose the "Delimited" format, click "Next", and then choose "comma" and "space" as the delimiters, and choose the option "Treat consecutive delimiters as one". This should then open up the file with the date and value in their own distinct cells.

Thanks,
Mark
