: I retrieved the data on my portfolio from E*Trade, but the only thing that I got was today's prices. It did not pick up prices from the time I established the portfolio 4 months ago. How do I get that information, along with distributions, into my portfolio? I want to see how I did over the last quarter.

: Also, I tried to add things to the "Column List" by checking boxes, but nothing changed as I looked at portfolio editor.

Hi Kevin,

When retrieving transactions, this doesn't update closing prices? When you retrieved, you should have seen the "Preview Importing Transactions" dialog. Did you see your transactions? You might want to read the tutorial section on "Retrieving Historical Transactions" from here:

http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/tutor.html

You can request what dates you want to retrieve transactions for, and you can just choose the option for "All Dates".

To modify the columns listed on the right of the portfolio editor, select "View / List Columns...". If you add more columns than can be seen, you may need to scroll the right side of the window to the right to see the new columns.

Thanks,
Mark
