: Hi Jon,

: There are several different %Gains reported by Fund Manager. The %Gain-I should give you the number you are looking for here. Please check these possible items:

: 1) Did you have any distributions (either positive or negative)?
: 2) Did you take more money out, or put more money in?
: 3) Maybe your starting report date is after your initial purchase? In this case the %Gain-I on the Portfolio Performance report only reflects from the starting report date to the ending report date. If you want the historical %Gain, independent of starting report date, create a custom report with the "%Gain (inception).

: Also, please see the %Gain-I formula:

: On your second question, you can plot the actual gain using "Graphs / Portfolio Gain". To see the increase/decrease in terms of a percentage, you can use the "Graphs / Portfolio/Investment Overlay / Price + Distribution". Choose "Help / Help on Graph" from within any graph type for an explanation of what you're seeing.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Thanks for the response Mark. I only have a $0.10 distribution, so I know that's not it, and the report date is definitely before the first purchase. I did have multiple deposits into the cash account, so it sounds like this is the issue. Is there any way to correct this? I tried filtering the report to include only stocks, but for some reason I was then shown a gain of 34%.
