Disregard. I checked the Proxy server, use Windows settings box, and was then able to download latest updates and retrieve Yahoo quotes.

Strange thing is, I'm not on a proxy server, and I've never checked (or unchecked) that box. Seems to have happened spontaneously.

: When I check for updates or server status, I get a completely empty window. It has the "Internet Quote/Page server Update" title bar, but nothing is in the window. I don't remember when this started, but it never used to happen. But as of today, Yahoo quotes no longer update, so now the problem has to be solved.
