: : : I have a cash account in my Portfolio. I have added money to and taken out money from that account by Purchase and Redemptions. When I use the Pie Chart, I found that the Pie chart display the wrong amount for this Cash account. It actually displayed the total of the two investments and didn't include the redemptions. However, the ammount shows in the Portfolio editor for the Cash account is correct.

: : : I have tried to create a new portfolio and open the same investments including the case account there. The Pie Chart can display the correct amount of the cash account over there.

: : : Do you have any idea of this problem? Should I recreate my Portfolio and sub-portfolios and open all my investments over there?

: : Hi Tim,

: : Are you looking at the pie chart for the current date? The Portfolio Editor displays current values. What type of pie chart are you looking at? I'd suggest creating a Portfolio Value report, and listing by the same item that your pie slices are displaying (Investment, Symbol, Asset Type, Investment Goal, or Investment Type). Also, make sure you set the date the same in the report as you have on your graph.

: : Thanks,

: Hi Mark,

: I am quite sure it is the Pie Chart problem for that cash account. The amount of other investments and other cash accounts are correct. Even the amount for that cash account can show correctly in the portfolio editer below. I have also created a test Portfolio and included the cash account with problem and create a Pie Chart there. The Pie Chart can display a correct amount over there. So the problem is the portfolio to that account for pie chart only.

: I believe I can recreate the portfolio and include the old investments to fix it.

: Regards,

: Tim

Hi Tim,

If you'd like, I can take a closer look at your problematic portfolio. If you have a high speed internet connection, you can give me a call (480-705-0129), and we can do a quick web conference. Otherwise, you can email me your portfolio and all the investments in it, with instructions on how to reproduce the issue.

Thanks,
Mark
