%Gain I and V on Perf Rept

Mark,
Thanks for your response of Aug 7 on this subject. Did have a number of sold investments with a negative fractional share balance. Corrected that. Now the problem is that two of my cash accounts are displaying N.A. on %Gain-I which in turn, calculates the sub-portfolio and top level portfolio as N.A. In each cash account there is one day that the share balance is negative. Is there a way to exclude the cash account in the behavior you intended to report short positions?
Also one other question is that one of the predefined date settings is "Earliest transaction to date". The Beg Value is always zero on all of my investments. When I change the start date to Earliest transaction +1 day the one investment displays a Beg Value and a %Gain-V. Is there a way to display the beginning value of all my investments on the report within the time frame and calculate %Gain-V.
