I took the following steps, while connected to the internet:

1.used New Portfolio Wizard,entered a portfolio name, and my fidelity account number. clicked "transaction retrieve settings"

2. selected Fidelity from your drop-down list,entered my Fidelity user ID and password and account number. clicked ok

got the following error message: "could not open log file for writing" C:\program files\fund manager\ofxpost.txt

ps: just purchased the latest version of personal fund manager a few days ago.
