problem downloading historical transactions

I just downloaded the new version of fund manager on a new computer. I tried to download historical transactions from Vanguard, but got the following messages. "Cound not open log file for writing." Next message "C:\Program Files\Fund Manager\ofxpost.txt" I have used an old version for years, but never tried to download any files. I don't know a lot about how these things work and have had quite a bit of trouble getting my files on the new computer. For "account number" under retrieve settings I used one of my account numbers. Should I have used the social security number? Or is there an account number that covers all accounts?
