: Mark,

: From the snapshot I've provided invested amount is 3990, and my account value now is 4378.00. With a $10 fee, appreciation in the Gain column is 378.56. So far so good, here is how I came up with ~9.5% ..

: 378.56 * 100 / 4000.00 = 9.456%.

: I kind of see where you were coming from in terms of %Gain-I. May be it is displaying the average or weighted average of all my funds in that account and the number that it displays (3.66) make sense. However, what I'm looking for here is the performance of that account (or sub-portfolio) which is 9.456%.

: I'd like to emphasize that there is only one fund, Fund 3 open in that account. Also, at any point of time there is only one fund in that account. So conceptually I sold Fund 1 at a gain and used that capital to buy Fund 2 and eventually bought Fund 3 selling Fund 2 (for a gain).

: May be %Gain-I doesn't give me what I was looking at (?). Is there anything else that could give me the performance of the sub-portfolio based on what I explained above.

: Thanks,

: - SPS

Hi SPS,

It sounds like you might prefer to look at the "%Gain (current)" field in a Custom report.

Thanks,
Mark
