Technical analysis bollinger %b-indicator[ Message Board ] [ Archives ] [ Search ] Posted by Bert on April 18, 2007 at 14:22:13: Hi Mark, I’ve been using fund manager 8.4 (licensed) for a few days now and found the technical analysis feature useful. I’ve a few suggestions for a future update. I know fund manager wasn’t designed with TA in mind, however would it be possible to add the bollinger band’s %b indicator next to the middle band display line value (ie BB 20 S +/- 2D 8.019 (+0.020) %b: 20). That would help me a lot as I’ve to calculate the indicator myself for every fund/share in my portfolio as the market data changes. The graph already displays an indication where the price is within the band but the actual %b value is more useful as sometimes I might be of a few cent on the lower/upper band estimates. Would it also be possible to add the RSI value to the MACD graph as sometimes I’d like to compare the bollinger bands to MACD and RSI indicators. I wasn’t able to select more than one indicator for the lower graph. I guess the default 14 day RSI would be the most appropriate. If it doesn’t clutter the screen too much could the TA graph display two indicators in a separate graph in the lower portion? I apologize if it’s already been suggested. Kind regards,
