I have set up multiple portfolios, with the portfolio file and security data for each portfolio stored in sub-directories under the "my_data" directory. Some portfolios are US $'s and some are CAD. I have also created combined portfolios that include different groupings of the same securities, with mixed currencies. When I open different portfolios, the same security is shown with different currencies (under investment/properties), sometimes CAD, sometimes USD. For example, on my screen now I have a report showing WEN as USD. If I close that portfolio and open a different one, WEN shows as CAD with the same absolute dollar value. I have checked the filename and path for the security and they are both the same. I thought the currency was stored with the security? Any ideas?
