: Hi Mark, during installation of beta, even in a seperate directory, there is only one installation note shown in the system software "installation/deinstallation", so after deinstallation of beta, you have to make a new installation of your old fundmanager.
: I think it has to do with the same name used?
: What will be the upgrade price from 5,3 personal to 6.0 advisory or professional?

Hi Peter,

Good point, this will be the case. The uninstall shown in the add/remove
programs will be for the last installation of Fund Manager. Please do
not uninstall any FM version, as this will remove some of your preferences
in the registry. Instead, when the official 6.0 release comes out you
can just install this to wherever you want to keep FM installed, and then just
delete the old directory where you had the temporary installation of the
beta version.

The upgrade fee from any prior Personal version to the 6.x versions is:

Personal to Personal: $14
Personal to Professional: $160
Personal to Advisor: $315

Anyone who has registered within 3 months of the new release will receive
a free upgrade.

With 3 versions now the upgrade pricing is a little more complicated, but if
you choose "Help/Registration Form..." from within Fund Manager you can
select the version that you're interested in, and see the upgrade pricing.

Thanks,
Mark
