: : : I had some funds in the portfolio from a redemption. So I created an investment called "cash" to show these funds. I've now reinvested the funds but the investment file is creating all manner of problems. I'd just like to remove the investment and its effects on the portfolio performance reports. I tried to delete the file cash.dat but that didn't work.

: : Hi Dan,

: : You can close an investment by right mouse clicking on the
: : investment's graph and choosing "Close Investment" from the popup
: : menu. Then, save your portfolio, so it remembers this investment
: : is not part of your portfolio. Save your portfolio with "File/
: : Save Portfolio".

: : What problems were you having with a cash account?

: : Thanks,

: Hi Mark,

: I don't normally view investment graphs, just the portfolio graph. How do I get to an investment graph?

: Dan

Hi Dan,

Just select "Graphs/Share Price" from the menu.

You don't have to change to an investment graph. You can move the
investment you want to edit to the top of the stack by selecting it
under the "Investments" menu, and then choosing "Edit/Investment Properties...".
Either way will get you to the same dialog.

Thanks,
Mark
