: : : Hi,

: : : I am new to Fund Manager(since last night) and faced couple of problems as below:

: : : 1. Is it normal that for the price updating and historical prices, I should always firstly dial from my NT? Otherwise the software can't dial itself and I always get an error message. But for the news and etc, the software dials up without any problem.
: : : 2. I always get the line historical chart and not the Bar charts. Although The high and lows are actually downloaded. I couldn't find any place to correct from the line to the bar.

: : : I appreciate your response.

: : Hi Malek,

: : 1) By NT, do you the operating system? If you have your internet
: : connection options set to dial upon request, when you try and
: : access the internet from FM your dial-up connection should
: : automatically dial, and connect. Please check your options
: : under Control Panel / Internet Options / Connections.

: : 2) Are you looking for the high/low bars? If so, this is available
: : only on the "Volume/High/Low" graph type, or in the "Technical
: : Analysis" graph type in the Professional version. Please choose
: : one of these graph types under the "Graphs" menu and see if this
: : doesn't fix the problem.

: : Thanks,
: : Mark

: Mark,

: Yes, I meant NT4 operating system. I should have said "firstly dial from my browser".
: My Internet Connection Option is set to "always dial my default connection". It's really strange, beacuse from the FM I can dial automatically into your site and the news etc, it's only the price downloadind that does not connect automatically.

: Regards
: Malek

Hi Malek,

Have you tried re-booting your computer? I have seen
before where the DUN gets stuck in a mode where it won't
automatically dial.

Thanks,
Mark
