Many thanks for the response.

It looks as though Market Eye shut down last summer. Although Thomson Financial seem to have taken over most of their activities I was unable to see any sign of the history downloads.

MSN (http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/home.asp) appears to have some data (last twelve months) that can be downloaded in .csv format but I haven't yet ascertained whether they have all shares or just the FT100.

Do you have any contacts at Yahoo UK whom we could lobby ? I tried using their feedback address some time ago but never got a response.
