: : : Updating is working but the data being returned is incorrect. Tried Yahoo and Quicken. It does not bring in any new data, get the same results as the information returned on 2/1. Shows a straight line on the bar graph.

: : : Also noted some stocks (mutual funds) are not updating at all.

: : : Have downloaded the the 315 and rebooted. Since I am using XP, have been for two months, I reinstalled the software. Still the same results.

: : : Engine is 4.1

: : Hi Paul,
: : Can you give an example ticker that isn't updating? Have you checked
: : under "Edit/All Data..." with the "Prices" data type to see if the prices
: : are really there or not? Maybe the graph display is just zoomed incorrectly?

: : Thanks,

: Yes, I did check the All Data screen and had to delete the entries because some of them were giving radical results, either up or down. It appears that at some point it was putting the results under the wrong stock or retrieving the wrong numbers.

: Earlier this evening I used the Ctrl L to retrieve ticker vfiax it returned the same stock price close as shows for 2/1, this information is from the Edit All Data windows. Other tickers orcl, msft, I believe all my stocks. You will notice if updating a single stock with a Ctrl L that the price on that screen is the same price as the close on 2/1.

: After composing this and trying some different options to get a better history of what was happening I selected the icon Retrieve from Internet and I now have correct prices showing for all stocks. Go figure.

: I think I saw this referenced elsewhere but updates on 2/1 and earlier did not bring in anything but the price. The new updates include close, volume high and low.

: After things started updating again I did a little test, I deleted the prices from >2/1 and did a Ctrl L, this always returned the 2/1 price. Second I noticed the price updates that worked today are back to just including the close - no other numbers.

Hi Paul,
The "Ctrl L" is the manual price update? It sounds like your questions
are on updating prices from the internet? What time of day are you updating
that you only get the close? When I try it now I am getting all the
close/high/low/open/volume fields.

Thanks,
Mark
