: I'd like to know if there is a way to include Certificates of Deposit (CDs) in a FM portfolio. The New Investment screen asks for a ticker symbol, and of course there isn't one. I imagine the same scenario occurs for bonds or zeroes, which I also hold. What do you recommend?

: Thanks for the assistance.

Hi Dave,
Just create this as a "cash" type investment, with a constant $1 share
price. Under the "Investment Properties.../Other" field turn off the option
to retrieve prices for this investment, since it doesn't have a symbol,
and is a constant $1 share price. You can record anything for the symbol,
it won't be needed.

Thanks,
Mark
