: : Windows 98 died on me in a manner that forced me to reinstall Windows with a completely fresh registry. My copy of Fund Manager therefore no longer appears in the registry. At first glance, however, it seems to be working fine. The only change I have noticed so far is in the background colors to the graphs. In any case, as long as I have to completely reorganize Windows, I want to move FM to a separate logical drive, and the automatic backups to a third drive. Do I really have to reinstall FM for this, or can I just move the whole folder where I want it to be, and change the place for the backups from inside FM itself?

: : Thanks.

: Hi David,
: You should reinstall FM to the new location. This will update the
: registry with the correct location of Fund Manager. You can then just
: adjust the auto backup location from within Fund Manager.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Mark,

Unfortunately had a similar problem. Still using 4.x but when the hard drive crashed
I had to reload FM. The program starts but it won't recognize either of my previous
two Name/password/Serial numbers from those versions. Nothing against 5.X but the older
versions did everything I needed. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jim
