: Mark --
: Fast Response from you, WOW!!!
: 1. I just retried Scottrade about 4 or 5 times. Each time FM produced an error message indicating that it couldn't make the connection (fair enough). Today, FM did NOT crash at all. I will try Scottrade again on Monday during their normal working hours. If you like, I saved one of the DrWatson error logs from yesterday and I could email it to you. E-mail me your address if you want it.

: 2. I believe you are correct. On line with them, I get 30 days transactions by default but can get much longer times by specifically choosing time segments up to 90 days long, but no more than 18 months old. I noticed some discussion on this board regarding Quicken. Does Quicken download positions as well as transactions? Downloading positions would be a big help.

: Thanks for your help.

Hi Keith,

I just sent you an email for #1. When you are logged on and viewing transactions online this is often a separate server than their OFX server, so even if you can see 90 days online, they may still only make 60 days available on their OFX server for example. It varies from broker to broker... I'd guess Quicken does make use of the position information, but I've not tested this before. Making use of this position information is on the to-do list for a future version.

Thanks,
Mark
