I am trying to calculate the return of the portfolio from the date of inception to the closing of the same year. In order to do that I need the purchase price ( which I have) and I also need to know the price of the date of closing. The software does not seem to be able to find those prices from downloading historical prices from yahoo. I need to find a way to imput the closing prices manualy if we cannot gather them from a historical database.
