Shares in multiple portfolios

I was wondering if when you own shares of one company distributed throughout multiple portfolios can you gather information and generate reports on an individual share throught multiple porftfolios. I ask for two reason

1. Tax laws in Canada allow for only weighted average cost of total shares. Therefore if I sell one share from one portfolio I need a quick way to assess my total cost base of each share in from my entire portfolio base.

2. Allow for a quick determination of net assets over multiple portfolios.
