Capital gains report

When I do a capital gains (average) report it shows an incorrect number of shares redemed. The report shows a redemption of the number of shares owned prior to the December ccapital gains reinvestments. When i do an edit/all data/redemptions sort it shows the correct number of shares as having been redemed. Any suggestions why the capital gains report shows an incorrect number would be appreciated.
