: And, indeed, I had installed Norton Internet Security 2005 after the last successful quote retrieve. I disabled NIS, and then FM worked fine. Now, can you give me an idea where to go and what to change in NIS to stop blocking FM?

Hi rkv,

I don't use NIS, so can't give you specifics, but usually these firewall
type programs have the option to add programs to the list of approved
applications that can access the internet. Somewhere in NIS, you should
be able to tell it that it is okay for Fund Manager to access the internet.
