Hi Phil,

Version 4.5 is quite old. Before sending it to me, please try creating
this capital gain report in 6.8, the latest version. You should be
able to record a sell, and then a buy, and get a reported capital gain.
We've added support for reporting capital gains on short sells since
version 4.5.

You might want to create a copy of this investment file before opening
it in 6.8, as 6.8 uses a new file format compared to 4.5. If you save
the investment in 6.8, you won't be able to open it in 4.5.
