: I am running W95 and had just upgraded to the latest version of FM from FM 4.1. Now, I've gone back to 4.1 and apparently the FM database is corrupt. It will let me open the portfolio that was crashing and displays the top investment, but as soon as I try to view another investment, I get the following (probably the same as the first, at least similar):

: Maybe I'll try installing on my W2K machine and see what happens.

Hi David,

Once you open your investments with 6.4 and save them, you won't be able
to open them with 4.1 again. The file format gets changed. You should
see a warning dialog box when you first open them in 6.4, asking if you
want to convert to the new format, and warning they won't be backward
compatible anymore.

If you do get a chance to try it on your W2K machine that would be
great. If the same problem persists on that system maybe you could
send me your data, and I could try to reproduce it here.

Thanks,
Mark
