Fund Manager and Registry

Windows 98 died on me in a manner that forced me to reinstall Windows with a completely fresh registry. My copy of Fund Manager therefore no longer appears in the registry. At first glance, however, it seems to be working fine. The only change I have noticed so far is in the background colors to the graphs. In any case, as long as I have to completely reorganize Windows, I want to move FM to a separate logical drive, and the automatic backups to a third drive. Do I really have to reinstall FM for this, or can I just move the whole folder where I want it to be, and change the place for the backups from inside FM itself?

Thanks.
David.
